TRAINING – THE TEAM
WHO WE ARE
Courses in Crew Resource Management (CRM) training and Pilot Licence Validation EASA Familiarisation are approved by Transport Malta – Civil Aviation Directorate (TM-CAD) while Aviation Security Training is also approved by AVSEC Malta.
Operating from the central Mediterranean at our base near Malta’s International Airport, all our aviation services comply fully with EASA standards and requirements, as a minimum. BizAv Training has been selected on various occasions as a most cost-effective training solution that satisfies the training needs of air operators and their regulating authorities.
OUR MISSION
It is our strong believe that effective training is a valid tool through which an individual’s capability can be enhanced and improved. An approach that facilitates a win-win strategy both the attending participant and the organisation which will eventually benefit from that individual’s contribution.
Therefore, as a training entity our overall objective is summarised in our mission statement below:

MEET THE HEAD OF TRAINING
Captain Philip Apap Bologna
Philip started his aviation career as a pilot in 1982 and has flown over 22,000 hours. In his capacity as captain and trainer, he has flown various aircraft types including the Casa 212 turboprop, B737-200/300, A320 and B737-800. From an organisational perspective Philip was instrumental in the development of Malta’s first JAA compliant operations manuals. Through his involvement in the business, Philip has been appointed as director and chairman on several boards and committees. He continues to fly commercially and as a trainer has a great passion for human factors and crew resources management training.
Philip is senior partner and director at BizAv Services Ltd responsible his main responsibilities are Flight Operations, Training, Operations Manuals and Documentation. In his free time, he enjoys sailing and spending time with his family.

APPROVED AVIATION TRAINING FOR AIRCREW
BizAv Services Ltd and Cockpit4U Aviation Service GmbH launch new approved aviation training programs and courses for pilots, cabin crew and aircraft operators in Malta.
Bizav Services Ltd Managing Director Capt. Philip Apap Bologna announced a training partnership with the German Approved Training Organisation Cockpit4U last month and is now introducing Level D full-flight simulator training in Malta. The EASA training in Malta will initially be offered on Airbus 320 family aircraft ranging from MCC and Jet Transition courses to Type Ratings and advanced Type Rating Instructor courses. Crew flight training on Bombardier Challenger, Boeing, and other Airbus aircraft types are also offered through the BizAv Cockpit4U partnership at specialised crew training facilities in Berlin, Germany.

TRAINING MANAGEMENT & SUPPORT
Further to our bespoken training service, BizAv can provide Crew Training Postholders with organisational support and assistance to facilitate regulatory compliance.
Our Training Management and Support service is designed to assist Crew Training Postholders with the planning, development and management of initial, recurrent, command and OCC (Operator Conversion Courses) training activities.
