Job Details: We are looking to recruit an experienced full-time Compliance Manager (CM) based in Malta: with a start date of early January 2021. The CM will act as the Compliance (and Quality) Manager in accordance with EASA regulations. Where required the CM will also act as the company’s representative in the areas of aviation compliance and quality to 3rd party entities contracting BizAv Services Ltd.

Detailed Responsibilities: In addition to regulatory requirements, the CM will be responsible for:
- Ensuring that the QMS Audit Programme is properly maintained.
- Whilst acting as BizAv Services representative for contracting organisations:
- The conduct of the duties and responsibilities of the post being filled under contract with the client, as described in the service level agreement.
- Ensuring that the relevant requirements of the appropriate aviation regulations as amended and the requirements of the TMCAD and any changes thereto are promulgated to responsible client managers.
- Facilitate the risk management processes including but not limited to hazard identification, risk assessment and risk mitigation.
- Develop and maintain the regulatory audit programme.
- Plan, coordinate and conduct internal and external (client) audits.
- Requesting corrective and preventative actions related to internal and external audit findings in respect of quality, training, operations and maintenance management policies and procedures.
- Provide periodic reports on Quality & Compliance and maintain appropriate documentation.
- Monitor and ensure that corrective and preventative actions are initiated and completed.
- Maintain up to date documentation, submitting amendments to the TMCAD for approval and prompt distribution of amendments as required by the client.
- Participation, where requested by the client, in reporting and investigative processes associated with occurrences/incidents/accidents concerning client aircraft.
- The implementation and continued operation of the ISO 9001:2015 QMS.
- Provide independent advice and assist on safety matters.
Work Experience: The CM will need the following:
- Up to date knowledge of current aviation regulations and requirements (including ICAO, EASA, Malta AIP and TMCAD requirements).
- Be an experienced aviation auditor in most of the following areas:
- Air Operations.
- Ground Operations.
- Flight Crew / Cabin Crew Training.
- EASA Part-M – Continuing Airworthiness.
- EASA Part-145 – Aircraft Maintenance.
- Part-147 – Aircraft Maintenance Training.
- Have previously held the position of Compliance Monitoring Manager, Aviation Quality Manager or Aviation Safety Manager for a minimum of 3 years.
- A proven track record at management level.

- Fluent in English (any additional languages will be considered favourably).
